Vancouver, B.C. – March 25th, 2026 – Coast Hotels Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of APA Hotel Canada, Inc. and one of North America’s fastest-growing and one of Canada’s largest hotel brands, is excited to announce the upcoming 24th Annual Coast Hotels Shuhachi Naito Golf Classic, which is set to take place on Thursday, July 09th, 2026, at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club, located in Delta, BC.

This event is being held to support the ALS Society of British Columbia and the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre and will help fund both non-profit organizations’ valuable and important work.

The annual golf tournament is one of the biggest events for Coast Hotels and has well surpassed $1.4m in funds donated to charities since its inception. This year’s Golf Classic will once again feature exciting activities, raffles, auctions, and prizes for all participants.

Vancouver, B.C. – October 14, 2025 – Fairmont Pacific Rim announces the launch of an exclusive new culinary collaboration series at The Lobby Lounge & RawBar, spotlighting globally acclaimed chefs alongside the hotel’s Chef de Asian Cuisine, Youssef Jbari. Designed as a sequence of intimate, one-night-only dining experiences, the series will welcome just 40 guests per evening for immersive omakase-style menus rooted in precision, seasonality, and creative exchange.

The inaugural dinner on Monday, March 30 will feature Masayoshi Baba, marking a highly anticipated return to The Lobby Lounge & RawBar - his former culinary residency - following the continued success of his Michelin-starred restaurant, Masayoshi. This homecoming sets the tone for the series, blending legacy with evolution in a refined and deeply personal dining experience.

Together, Baba and Jbari will present a meticulously curated six-course omakase menu, showcasing hyper-seasonal ingredients through a lens of Japanese technique and Nikkei influence. The result is a dialogue between tradition and innovation - where precision, restraint, and bold flavour converge. Tickets are available for $189.00 per person.

ARLINGTON, Va. 23 March 2026 – Canada’s hotel industry reported a second consecutive month of year-over-year performance increases, according to February 2026 data from CoStar, a leading global provider of commercial real estate information, analytics, and online property marketplaces.

February 2026 (percentage change from 2025):

  • Occupancy: 57.9% (+0.2%)
  • Average daily rate (ADR): CAD197.05 (+4.0%)
  • Revenue per available room (RevPAR): CAD114.18 (+4.2%)

Among the provinces and territories, Manitoba registered the largest increases across each of the three key performance metrics: occupancy (+7.6% to 66.8%), ADR (+7.8% to CAD178.28) and RevPAR (+16.0% to CAD119.17).

Among the major markets, Vancouver saw the largest increases in occupancy (+3.7% to 73.8%) and RevPAR (+7.8% to CAD166.24).

Despite reporting the steepest decline in occupancy (-7.2% to 63.8%), Toronto posted the highest ADR gain (+7.2% to CAD229.48).
