Calgary, AB, October 15, 2024 – Terroir Symposium and the SAIT School of Hospitality and Tourism are excited to announce Part II of the Terroir Series, a collaborative initiative to foster personal and professional growth within the culinary and hospitality sectors. The Symposium will bring an unforgettable culinary experience to Calgary on November 2-3, 2024, and will take place in the Hospitality House and John Ware Kitchen at SAIT School of Hospitality & Tourism. This year's theme, Nourishing the Future, promises to spark innovation, foster connections, and explore the cutting-edge of food and beverage. The Symposium connects industry leaders to be part of a movement shaping the sector's future. This fall’s program includes dynamic panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and exclusive wine and spirits tastings, all led by inspiring global figures in the industry.

Building on a solid history of partnership, this year’s Terroir Series will engage SAIT faculty, students, and alumni in delivering a wide range of workshops, events, and presentations. This collaboration not only offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience but also provides them with valuable networking connections within the industry. “We’re proud to be partnering with Terroir Symposium once again and are looking forward to hosting another excellent series,” says Scott Pohorelic, Associate Dean, Culinary Programs, SAIT. “Terroir is an opportunity for the hospitality industry to come together and be inspired by one another. It is a unique educational experience for SAIT students to learn from industry experts as they share ideas and stories from a range of backgrounds and experiences.”

This collaboration reaffirms Terroir and SAIT’s commitment to building a vibrant community that nurtures innovation, learning, and leadership within the hospitality sector.
